Dear cosettemonster,

You need to be really careful when you go behind the couch and the end tables. Sometimes, you have a hard time getting out and end up making noise to help me extract you from your predicament. When I have to lift you out, don't snap at me and complain when I hurt your chronically sore back. I don't have much leverage when I'm reaching for you back there and I can't help it. As it was, I was perching on the arm of the sofa and in danger of falling behind the end table myself if I got clumsy and slipped. And that would have made two of us. You wouldn't have been able to get out, and chances are, I wouldn't have been able to get up. I probably would have had to call someone for help or wait until doomsey came home. Luckily...the phone was on its cradle nearby...
