We also have birds and reptiles. Some of the birds are the mimic sort and yes we do have 'conversations' with them where they answer back.

Also, same can be said for the dogs, but that conversation is mostly a lot of 'ARRRR!'-ing back and forth.

The reptiles don't talk. They use body language to get the message across.
