Sushi!

[livejournal.com profile] doomsey: So...what are we doing for dinner?
[livejournal.com profile] nekosensei: I don't know. What are we doing for dinner?
[livejournal.com profile] doomsey: I don't know.
[livejournal.com profile] nekosensei: Sushi?
[livejournal.com profile] doomsey: Sure.

Today we had all-you-can-eat sushi for dinner. I hate copious quantities of sushi, actually, because I skipped lunch and by the time we made it to the restaurant, I was famished. As always, the food was delicious.

Oh...and [livejournal.com profile] doomsey discovered that I mean serious business when I say, "hands off my eel roll!" [livejournal.com profile] nekosensei <-- loves eel.

I'da had to stab someone with a chopstick. :-)

Unfortunately, we don't have a sushi restaur... wait. YES WE DO! I always forget about it, because it's in a little strip mall on the other side of town. There's no way I could get D to eat sushi with me, but he might do something cooked.

::plot plot::

Oooooh, please I can have sushi when I go to Houston with Cassie in September. :-)

You know, a lot of sushi places have a separate menu where you can order something that isn't sushi. He could probably get sukiyaki, Japanese curry, or something like that. Do you suppose you could get him interested in Japanese food in general?

A lot of people balk at the idea of eating uncooked fish, and I did at first until I tried it. Now, I love the stuff. I can't get enough of it in fact. You never really know if you're going to like something until you try it.

Did you stab him with your chopstick? 'Cause that's what I would've done. Maybe not over eel, but that's because I don't think I've ever had eel. But, like you... I take my sushi seriously.
