Also, if you're going somewhere and it's a mile or less from your house, walk or ride a bike. Use mass transit to get to and from work if possible.

We've got a Yaris. We wanted a Prius, but, the Yaris was more affordable. IMO, Yaris is second in line to a Prius.

The Yaris sedan is exactly the same as the 1st generation Prius, only without the hybrid transmission.

I've actually used a variation of that joke myself: Too bad I can't fill the tank with my gas. I'd save a lot of money.
