Guh!
Ugh! Please tell me I'm not getting sick again. I'm sitting on my sofa sniffling and sneezing up a storm. I thought I was getting over this! Both ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
doomsey and emygination have been sick, and I'm starting to wonder if one of them had a different bug and I'm getting that one now too. *sigh* I better not spend half of this winter being sick.
As for this weekend, I opted not to go the Anti-Proposition 8 rally downtown. My voice still sounds bad (in fact, I never got it back completely) and I figured that standing around in the cold air and yelling chants wasn't going to help things. That andemygination had been up late the night before taking care of the dogs and didn't wake up in time to go with me. I wasn't really up to going on my own. I'm hoping that there will be other opportunities for me to contribute when I'm feeling better.
Instead, I did laundry and got other work done.doomsey and I also arranged to have dinner with emygination at our favorite Thai restaurant, which will be closing at the end of next week. I asked our server if they were closing because the owners were retiring or because of the economy (doomsey said I should have kept my mouth shut), and she responded it was because they hadn't been getting enough business. It's a sign of the times. This means it's time to look for a new Thai place.
Today,doomsey and I didn't do very much. We only went out to get more library books. I mostly flipped through LJ, read, and worked on my knitting. Speaking of knitting, I am now on the last round of my blanket. I hope to bind off soon. Squee! I can't wait. I've been working on this thing forever!
