More randomness

I've picked up my old tradition of walking about three or so miles a day and I've been doing so for the past week and a half. Well...a couple of days I was only able to do a mile because of some blisters on my heels, but I have new shoes on order that will take care of the problem. It takes me about an hour and I usually take my ipod with me and listen to music. After a while it occurred to me that I was really stupid to stop going on these walks. When I get enough exercise, I lose weight, fit into my clothes better, have more energy, and am usually in a better mood. Another weird thing I've noticed is that I've stopped craving junk food as much. Has anybody else out there noticed that they don't get the munchies as much when they've been exercising?

Usually two layers of socks, the inner ones being thinner sweat-wicking stuff like coolmax or polypro will prevent blisters.

I sometimes still get the munchies after exercising, but for whatever reason, I'm usually craving healthier stuff, like fruit.

I'm usually more thirsty than anything. Of course, more often than not, I go for a walk after dinner. So...maybe I'm not as hungry because I've already eaten...
