Saturday
Two nights ago, I dreamt that David Bowie was touring again and that he was coming to Chicago.
doomsey and I went. He was starting to sing his first song when the dream ended. It was good to have a cool dream and not the weird anxiety dreams I've been having.
Yesterday,
doomsey and I went to my niece's first birthday party. She got a lot of gifts this year. I felt bad about not being able to bring anything since
doomsey has been busy with work and taking me for tests. There was a store we wanted to go to, but with the way our schedule has been, it didn't work out since they close at 6:00. My mom and sister both told me not to worry about it and I could get her something when I was feeling better.
After the party,
doomsey,
judygs,
bmtstandard, and
emygination went to see a play at the Goodman Theater. It was called "Shining City" and it was a very well written play. Before the play, we went to a Great Street restaurant in the Renaissance Hotel. The food was out of this world. The restaurant was pricey, but not too terribly expensive. I ordered the lobster pot pie. It was delicious! And it had a lot of lobster in it.
All in all, I have to say that I was glad to get out for awhile, even thought it was colder than hell outside. I just made sure that I wore a scarf to keep the cold air out of my lungs.
