Cold Cold Cold

My thermometer says -10F outside. Wow. That is extremely cold. And I have to go out in that today. Oh joy!

My husband is actually going outside to plow snow. He must be nuts.

Last night, I went downstairs, picked [livejournal.com profile] cosettemonster up, and put her under the covers with me. Yesterday and the day before, I noticed that she was walking a bit stiff-legged as if her back leg with the bone chip were acting up again. She must be arthritic because of all of the bad weather we've been having. Poor kitty! I'm hoping that keeping her warm last night helped things.

What? My cats are spoiled, you say? What makes you think that?

my cat was doing that with his back leg a week ago, but he's old so I thought he might be arthritic. he won't sleep under the covers with us, but he will sleep under the covers by himself:)

stay warm - it's terrible out there today.

I thought the cat was to keep YOU warm. Any benefit to the cat is extra!

I hope your cat is warm enough.

I think proper cats sleep under the covers. The one we have now doesn't but then he has always been a rascal. When I was a teen his grandma gave birth under the covers beneath my knees two years in a row. It was her favourite resting place while I lay reading. Imagine suddenly hearing a "Mjao" and looking down to find a kitten! :-)

Awww. What a pleasant surprise!

It was!

And even though we gave them a cardboard box in the closet she used to carry them to me to babysit now and again.
