[livejournal.com profile] cosettemonster is definitely a strange bird. She likes drinking out of strange things. Today, I was taking my shower, and when I got out she sat there meowing at me so that I could open the shower door and let her drink the water that collected there . I usually don't let her do this since it's usually soapy water. She has IBD, and I'm afraid that it will only make her stomach upset and that I'll end up with a mess to clean up on the floor. So...after I was done with my shower, I went downstairs, filled up a plastic bowl with water, and put it on the living room floor for her. She is now lapping the water up contentedly. It's weird...I think she's still drinking out of her water dispenser too. Hmm...

Lately, I started filling up a bowl with water and putting it on one of our dining room chairs while we're eating dinner. She often sits on the chair next to mine and drinks the water while [livejournal.com profile] doomsey and I are eating. [livejournal.com profile] doomsey seems to think that she might be doing this because she wants to be "included in things." Weird.

Last night I kept waking up to nightmares. For whatever reason, I had two in a row. In Nightmare #1, [livejournal.com profile] doomsey had said or done something to piss the government off, which unfortunately landed him in jail. Thinking the government was full of crap, I busted him out of jail and spent the rest of the dream running from the Department of Homeland Insecurity Security with hubby in tow. Yeah...like [livejournal.com profile] doomsey is a menace to National Security...

In Nightmare #2, there was a grizzly bear wandering around the 'burbs that attacking and killing random people. Animal control was having a hard time tracking it down. Fortunately, I didn't run into the bear. I only heard about it on the news. I was, however, walking to a friend's house, it was dark, and I was very afraid. Ah...suspense.

So...I'm thinking either I'm going to spend the rest of the evening knitting or reading a book. I'm leaning towards reading a book because I'm tired and I'm afraid I'll mess up the blanket I'm working on...which will cause me to spend the rest of the evening cussing at it.
