Now they're finding that the chemical that contaminated cat foods made with wheat gluten might have also found its way into those made with corn and rice gluten. My cat's food is made with corn gluten. I know that the bag I've currently been feeding them is okay since
arwenmonster has had her blood tested at the vet for an unrelated problem. All of her numbers came back good. On the other hand, any day now, that bag will be used up and I'll have to start them on another bag. I've compared the two to see if there are any differences. The one smells slightly different from the other one. [Edit: I have no idea whether it's because the older bag was mostly used up or if the new one, which I opened today, is fresher or what.]
Oh...and by the way, cat food tastes really bad...period. FYI.
[Edit: Seriously, I don't see how
cosettemonster snarfs it down like there's no tomorrow. If I were a cat, I would start a revolt!]
[Another edit: Speaking of revolts...*snickers*]
