21. The Doll's House, Dream Country, and Season of Mists by Neil Gaiman --These are actually volumes two through four of The Sandman graphic novels. Overall, I like this series, which about a group of immortals called the endless. The main character is the Dream Lord, a character who had been imprisoned in the human world for seventy years. By the way, as one of the characters discovered, there's a big difference between a cereal convention and a serial killer convention.

Finally, I couldn't help but notice that these books were in the Teen section of the library with the other graphic novels. Part of me wonders if these books have been mislabelled and if they should really be in the adult section of the library. I mean, one of them does portray an author raping a woman who is a goddess or muse of writing. Is anybody out there familiar with this series? Do you have any thoughts on this one?

Today, I discovered that two of my good jeans were fraying right in the butt. Since I figured it would not be a good thing for people to see what color underwear I was wearing, I decided it was time to make a trip to Lane Bryant to buy new ones. When I got there, I noticed that they had a new system for picking out jeans. They were separated into three different colors-- red, yellow, and blue-- and the numbers went from one to about seven or eight. When I first saw it, I was confused and started scratching my head. Where were the normal sizes I was so in the habit of looking for? That's when a sales lady came up, explained what was going on, and offered to measure me. She told me the color I should pick out based on my body shape and the size from the measurement of my waist. I picked out jeans that were in my size and color, and they fit perfectly! On the first try! I've always thought that shopping for jeans (and pants in general) was hell since I have a lot of curves. They'd fit right in one place but be loose in another. Here I was, thinking I would spend two hours in the store trying on jeans and figuring out what size and cut to wear, when it only took me a few minutes. It turns out that I had a harder time picking out a top! Whoever designed this was brilliant!

Oh...and today's shopping trip resulted in three new jeans and a cute top.
