Uhh.... Earthquake?
Apr. 18th, 2008 10:17 amI think they had an earthquake in New Madrid or something. The whole house shook. I felt my couch moving a bit. Usually, traffic makes things bounce up and down, but this was more side to side. That and I heard the hutch in the dining room shaking...so that meant that the whole house was shaking. That was freaky. I don't remember ever feeling anything like that before.
I'm on the phone with my parents. Apparently there was another one early in the morning...around four-thirty in the morning.
[ETA: Okay...this is what happens when you wake up late and don't pay attention to the news. They had an earthquake in southern Illinois at about 4:30 this morning. What I felt now was an aftershock. And it's not traffic because
doomsey and another one of his friends in Urbana felt it too].
