So far everything looks good. The person doing my echocardiogram said that there was a thickening on one of my valves, but that's normal. He remarked that my doctor is being "cautious," which I think is a good thing. The tech has to send the echo to a cardiologist, so I probably won't know more until about Monday. My results for my blood test also look fine. My doctor did notice that my Protein S was borderline low, but she was going to have to do more reading on how Coumadin affects those levels. She would have done it earlier, but she didn't get my results until today. She had to call up the lab running the tests and ask them to fax the results to her office.
