Cold Cold Cold
Jan. 15th, 2009 09:18 amMy thermometer says -10F outside. Wow. That is extremely cold. And I have to go out in that today. Oh joy!
My husband is actually going outside to plow snow. He must be nuts.

cosettemonster up, and put her under the covers with me. Yesterday and the day before, I noticed that she was walking a bit stiff-legged as if her back leg with the bone chip were acting up again. She must be arthritic because of all of the bad weather we've been having. Poor kitty! I'm hoping that keeping her warm last night helped things.

It's currently about -6 outside. About an hour ago, I boiled water, took it outside, and threw it up in the air. As hakeber said, instant snow! It wasn't as cathartic when I used water that was at room temperature though. You could see it freezing on the ground right away though...
Oh...I have video! Once I edit it, I'll post it to YouTube with a link.
[Edit: I'm also thinking about going out there again when it's a bit colder...maybe around -10...to see what kind of results I get. And of course I'll bring the camera provided I can get it to work in low light].
