Books I've Read So Far This Year
Feb. 9th, 2009 01:12 am1. Coraline by Neil Gaiman. Yes, I know. It's February and I just finished my first book of the year. I know, I'm slow because I don't like to spend too much time reading because of my neck issues. Anyhow, Coraline is a children's book so it's a quick read once you, you know, actually sit down and read it. Very creepy...I like it.
emygination got this one for me for Christmas knowing that I would enjoy it.
I'm noticing a common theme in Neil Gaiman's books: his characters keep getting trapped in underworlds or alternate realities from which they have to escape. A few books don't follow that pattern, but most of them do.
