5) there were at least two or three cars stopped at the intersection.
And to top it all off, as he was careening through the intersection, he waved at all the cars as he went by as if that would help us see him better as he shot down the road in the dark whilst ignoring all traffic rules.
Moron.
And while we're on the topic of dumb bicyclists, why is it that the stupid ones always aggregate on that street? About two years ago, I almost hit someone two blocks further down. This particular individual thought it would be cute to bicycle on the wrong side of the street. I was pulling out of an alley that led to a parking garage, and all of a sudden, I had to slam on the brakes because this guy appeared out of nowhere from behind a parked car. And then he had the nerve to get angry at me, block me in, and pound on the hood of my car! I had to threaten to call the police on him to get him to leave me alone. That dude was crazy.
