Role playing

One of the things that some people have been talking about on _discussion are involvement in role-playing games, whether they are paper and die version, LARPs, or online role playing games. You know something...I really miss role playing. I always thought it was a ton of fun...especially the paper and die ones. I was kind of confused in the one LARP I played, but I'm pretty sure I'd get the hang of it if I tried again. Hey...does anybody know anyone out there who is organizing any games?

I believe limiter3118 is aiming to run the next Call of Cthulhu LARP in June, but that's not official yet.

As far as tabletops... I'd like to run one in the moderate future--I have some ideas--but there's too much chaos in my life to put one together at the moment, what with job stuff and planning to write a novel in November, so perhaps next year. I don't know if anyone else has anything on a burner.

Hello I'm an old college buddy of [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]. I understand only too well the pains of rpg withdrawal. Check out my community [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]. It might satiate the creative juices, and if this goes the way I intend it (which things rarely do)the interaction between districts will I hope have an rpg feel to them.

The current game is on hold, as I'm trying to straighten a few things out, but presumeably, I'm going to try to get some thing rolling. Also, if you're interested, every so often I do a Cthulhu Live LARP, with the help of Davimye and another helper or two. I'm hoping to run the next one in June. Let me know if you are interested.
