Tomorrow's the big day. I'm going to get another CT scan to see if that mass that showed up in the CT scan of my chest got any bigger.

I was really worried about this, but last night, I read something that calmed me down a bit. According to the radiologist, the mass was in the posterior mediastinum, which is all the way in the back of my chest cavity. I finally looked it up, and various articles said that tumors that originate out of there are either lymphoma (which is very treatable) or a variety of benign tumors. So...at worst, I'm going to have a shitty year with biopsies, surgery, radiation, and/or chemotherapy. At best, I have nothing to worry about. In the end, it's not going to be the end of the world (or the end of the road). And it's no where near as bad as almost dying on my living room floor...and, in the end, I came out of that one in one piece. ~~Too bad that life-threatening conditions don't, you know, hurt more so that you know you're in trouble and it's time to get help.~~

Anyhow, I'm going to ask those of who do stuff like this to light a candle / say a prayer / keep all their fingers and toes crossed that my test goes well tomorrow.
