Today,

doomsey and I finally had the squirrel guy come out. Somebody was supposed to come out earlier, but he never showed up. It turns out that the tech who scheduled the inspection had a family emergency and was on his way to Florida.

The funny part is, the guy opened up the access panel to the attic and right away he saw two squirrels. He pointed out that he saw one and all of a sudden you heard scamper scamper scamper coming from above our heads. He also saw a second one and he ended up chuckling about that one. It had climbed up into the fan above his head. Since there was no way out, it ended up going around and around the blades in a circle almost as if it was a big hamster wheel. Heh heh.

I also couldn't resist telling him about

doomsey's bad luck with squirrels. When he was living in an apartment downstate, they had one that repeatedly chewed through their screen door off of their balcony. One day he came home from school to see a squirrel sitting on his kitchen table and eating a muffin.

Oh yeah...

doomsey and I hired the guy to seal off the attic and to clean up the mess. It's a bit pricey, but that saves one or both of us climbing around the roof.

doomsey doesn't want to do it and I shouldn't because I'm on blood thinners.
