Compared to other weekends, this one was pretty uneventful.

On Friday night, [livejournal.com profile] doomsey and I got Mexican food, thereby satisfying my craving for chilaquiles and horchata. Then, we got together with some friends to see Hancock. I thought it was a funny movie, but you had to be able to suspend belief, especially towards the end of the movie.

On Saturday night, [livejournal.com profile] doomsey, his family, and I went out for sushi. Then, we found a movie theater that was playing Iron Man (also a good movie).

[livejournal.com profile] doomsey and I ended up not doing much on Sunday, which was nice for a change. Lately, our weekends have been booking up, and it was nice to do nothing for a change.

Yes, indeed, it was. Very good sushi at Sushi Nest in Elmhurst. I made the mistake of ordering quail's egg sushi, though, not realizing they'd be raw. Tasted good, but I'm not doing that again.

The theater we went to was in downtown LaGrange -- all shows $3.50 -- and we walked around there for a while before the show. Nice town. Lots like Elmhurst, but bigger. (Though we figured it might be because Elmhurst has three business centers, around its three train stations -- two of which are were on the Prairie Path and are gone now -- and LaGrange only has/had one train station.)
