Monday, February 2nd:

Looking up.

Tuesday, February 3rd:

I was working on the tassels for my Doctor Who scarf. I managed to do all the tassels on one end, but not the other.

Wednesday, February 4th:

I bought this action figure in a shop in Chinatown. (Does anybody who went with me remember the name of it? I'm blanking). I keep telling [livejournal.com profile] doomsey that it's my anime alter-ego. This is Rukia from Bleach and she's one of my favorite characters from that series. She has a tendency to lose her temper and shoot off her mouth. Oh...and she's also an ice queen.

Thursday, February 5th:

My finished Doctor Who scarf hanging on the coat tree. Actually, I still have to block the scarf. Many knitted items that use several different colors of yarn should be blocked because the density of the dyes used is different. Blocking entails soaking it and stretching the scarf out to the correct width. This evens things up so the sides look neater. I should also trim the tassels so they're all the same length.

Friday, February 6th:

On Friday, I made a trip to Hobby Lobby for yarn and other useful knitting implements. This is part of the loot.

Saturday, February 7th:

The weather was gorgeous on Saturday (it went up to almost 60) so [livejournal.com profile] doomsey and I went for a walk. I took a bunch of pictures, but I liked this one best. Pretty sky!

Sunday, February 8th:

[livejournal.com profile] doomsey and I also went for a walk today even though the weather wasn't as nice. I spotted this little squirrel on our way home. I took two pictures of [livejournal.com profile] doomsey's bald spot when he wasn't looking, but I decided to be nice and not post them. :)

Other than that, today hasn't been that good of a day. [livejournal.com profile] cosettemonster threw up everything she ate today. She urped up both her breakfast and dinner. She also threw up after drinking water this afternoon. She did drink some more water later and was able to keep it down. Poor kitty! Other than that, she hasn't been acting sick. She still begs for food even though she tosses it up later. I'm thinking it's hairballs because she did cough up a small one earlier today. I had also caught her eating some hair that Arwen had shed earlier in the week. Yeah...that wasn't too bright on her part. I'm going to try feeding her a little bit of food later tonight before I go to bed and see if she'll hold that down. I'm giving her until tomorrow. If she doesn't hold down her breakfast, I'm calling the vet. Oh...I also read something triggering on one of my friends list and got upset. It didn't help that I'm probably PMSing and I'm stressing out about my cat.

Adopt one today!Adopt one today!

Your trees are upside-down :P

Nice pics! Love the scarf, and the clouds in that one pic! :)

Aww, poor kitty cat.

Those are nice pictures.

Hope your cat gets better. Sick cats are no fun to deal with.

Not really. That's the way I took the picture. I stood under the boughs and took the picture. I think it looked kind of cool so I decided not to rotate it so that it looked normal.

I feel really bad for my cat. She hasn't been able to hold much down. I'm not sitting up and feeding her food to her slowly. I feed her dry cat food, and right now I'm putting down about four pellets at a time. It seems to be working. I give her a lot of time in between mini-feedings so that she can digest things. If I give it to her too quickly, she horks it back up. I've fed her like this a number of times when she had funny tummy, and every time it's worked.

I do plan to take her to the vet tomorrow if she's still throwing up. The good thing is that she's not hiding or acting like she's sick. She's just puking. She also still wants to eat even though it makes her throw up. I think it's just hair balls because she horked up a bunch of hair earlier this evening. Yeah...I know...tmi.

Lol, I know - I was being silly. :P

Aw :( I know all about cat problems from what we've had to deal with with our foster kitties. She okay now?

She was okay this week, and then she started yurking again today. When I feed her this evening, I'm going to go back to feeding her a couple of pellets at a time.
