Damn it!

The city picked today to work on replacing the water main out front, and they didn't bother to tell me that they were going to be digging right in front of my driveway. I asked them to please let me out, but they told me they can't until about two o'clock this afternoon. So...now my car is stuck in the garage! So much for my zoo trip.

Oh well. Maybe I can go on Friday.

You should call the city public works and complain. They should have given you prior warning.

Too bad you don't have a neighbor's driveway that you can easily go into.
