Thursday, June 11th:

We had to cut our rosebush back a lot this year because last year it contracted a fungus and wasn't doing so well. I didn't expect it to bloom much this summer, but it surprised me and bloomed quite a bit. I think some of it might be all the rain we've been getting this spring.

Saturday, June 13th:

I was grabbing something from my kitchen when I saw this little guy jump onto the porch railing. I grabbed the camera and, fortunately for me, he was still there when I got back. He must have been as curious about me as I was about him, because he kept sitting there staring at me. Also, is it me or do squirrels groom themselves like cats when they're confused? I have a couple of pictures of him looking at me with this "what the hey?" expression on his face, and then more of him grooming himself. Maybe

Sunday, June 14th:

I hate to post two pictures of roses in the same week, but I went out for a walk with my camera, and this was the best looking picture out of the bunch. And since I was screwing around with the gaussian blur feature on Acorn for another picture, I decided that this picture would probably look kind of cool cropped and blurred.

Now all it needs is a little poem written in cursive. Something that sounds warm and fuzzy. *snerk*
