A Picture a Day -- Week 28

Wow...I'm right on time with this one...
Monday, July 6th:

I finished knitting
darkhunter3941's Harry Potter hat over the weekend. I still have to block it though.
Tuesday, July 7th:

A flower. I'm thinking it's another lily...
Wednesday, July 8th:

Yeah...I was drawing a blank on what I should take a picture of on Wednesday. I ended up taking a picture of
cosettemonster's medicine (yeah...like you really wanted to see that) because I had to take her to the vet the day before. Basically, it's a laxative that's supposed to coat the stomach and intestines and make things easier to digest. She'd been having some bad tummy troubles over the weekend, and her appetite was a bit down. The vet didn't see anything wrong, but she recommended giving her a shot of vitamin B-12. It usually helps those cats with stomach issues. And it worked! She's doing much better now. Personally, I think the problem is hairballs. They've both been shedding like mad, and even
arwenmonster has been coughing up an occasional hairball.
Oh...and from now on, she'll be getting a shot of Vitamin B-12 every month.
Thursday, July 9th:

I was also having a hard time coming up with picture ideas on Thursday, so you get a picture of
cosettemonster. Oh...and the last time I posted a picture of my cat, some troll started leaving comments about how stuck up she looked. When they posted their nonsense a second time, I plugged their IP address into a tracker and then wrote them a reply telling them where they lived. I haven't heard a peep out of them since.
Friday, July 10th:

Roses! My neighbor is a gardening snob, and roses seem to be his thing.
Saturday, July 11th:

I was procrastinating on getting work done on Saturday, so I ended up going to Bachelor's Grove again for my picture of the day. This time, I brought
doomsey along kicking and screaming. I went through the place with
doomsey whining incessantly about how "this was stupid." Whatever. Twice, I wandered off on my own so I wouldn't have to listen to him. I was standing by the pond, and thought I heard a male voice at one point, and again by a river deeper in the woods, but I couldn't tell if was a ghost or
doomsey complaining and wondering where I went off to. Knowing
doomsey, it was probably the later. I didn't tell him at the time because I was afraid that he was going to tell me I was being dumb, say there are no such thing as ghosts, and then drag my ass out of the place without my having got all the pictures I wanted. (And no, I don't feel even remotely bad about abandoning
doomsey there to wander the graveyard by himself because a) he doesn't believe in ghosts and b) if one did approach him and introduce himself,
doomsey would would shrug and tell it to its face that he didn't believe in ghosts and ergo the spirit standing in front of him was not real). Personally, I know it's probably not safe to do so, but I think going alone (or with one or two fellow gullible people people who aren't going to rain on my parade) is much more fun.
Anyhow, this picture is of the path leading to the cemetery. When I took the picture, I had my camera on the wrong setting. It was set to take pictures at night so a bunch of photos came out dark. Personally, I like the effect. It makes the place look more macabre than what it really is. And you should probably know by now that I like all things macabre.
And one other thing, the mosquitoes there were atrocious. I put on some unscented insect repellent, and it didn't work. I might have well have been wearing sugar water! I got a ton of mosquito bites. Shit...I even got a couple of mosquito bites on my scalp! *scratches* Next time I go to the store, I'm investing in some Deep Woods Off.
doomsey can wear the unscented stuff from now on. Mosquitoes don't bother him, but they think I'm a fucking banquet.
Sunday, July 12th:

A pretty sunset...
