Some of the contents of my knitting bag: several books on knitting and crochet, small double pointed knitting needles, interchangeable knitting needles that you can also use to knit in the round, a little something that a friend of mine knitted when I was giving her a lesson, yarn, yarn, and more yarn.

On Friday, blondebritecake and I went Karaoking. Towards the end of the evening, a little somebody got plastered and started a bar fight. It wasn't me! Honest! Two guys slapped and shoved one another at the bar section. They were nowhere near the Karaoke section, so thankfully, I didn't get involved in that. The bar employees escorted the guys outside. One left, but the other started mouthing off someone else in the parking lot. Fortunately, no punches were thrown, but the cops did get called. This is blondebritecake and some random drunk dude posing in front of a cop car. blondebritecake thought I was very silly for taking a picture, but hey, it's for picture of the day and that's how I roll.

Oh...and now I understand why blondebritecake decided to park farther away from the bar. People there have a tendency to get drunk and take it outside!

I decided to weed my garden today instead of tomorrow because it's supposed to get hot again. While I was working, I discovered that one of the peppers was ready to be picked. Yay! I should also be getting some eggplant in a week or two. I've got tomatoes out there, but they haven't turned red yet. Hopefully soon.

Oh...and that reminds me! I have to put some Shake Away out there tomorrow so that critters don't come and eat the stuff that's growing out there.

I love Queen Anne's Lace - we had it all over the place up North. I don't think I've seen a bit of it since I moved down here. I wonder if it would even grow?
