Monday, August 10th:

A little something I bought while I was visiting Alphie McPhee-- a gag shop-- in Seattle. I was stuck between this one and the crazy cat lady action figure.
Tuesday, August 11th:

I'm reading two books at the same time, which is kind of unusual for me. Actually, that makes three books if you count the fact that I'm listening to Ray Bradbury's Farenheit 451 on audiobook. I usually have only one book going at a time.
Wednesday, August 12th:

I've made a lot of progress on the blanket thanks to the four hour flight to and from Seattle. I'm learning how to crochet very quickly. The further into the blanket I get, the faster I go. I'm also getting to the point in the pattern where I don't need to count so much anymore (aka I'm starting to see how it works).
Thursday, August 13th:

Stuff I pulled out of my garden. I had to pull the tomatoes out early because the plant they were growing on was dying.
Friday, August 14th:

I went for a walk around the neighborhood and thought that this was a good shot.
Saturday, August 15th:

Whee! Clouds!
Sunday, August 16th:

I was goofing around on the computer when I noticed that it had gotten dark all of a sudden. I went outside and saw dark clouds that were moving quickly. Even more interesting was that it looked like two fronts were coming together right above us because there were two sets of clouds moving in different directions. Usually, when that happens, you know that it's going to storm and it's going to storm bad. So what did I do? I grabbed the camera and started taking pictures.
Since the weather forecast said that it was going to rain most of the week except for today, I decided to make a trip out to the zoo. Got a bunch of cute pictures. I think I'm going to end up posting some of them in the days to come.
