Yesterday, [livejournal.com profile] doomsey and I went to Sushi Nest with S. and G. for lunch. Mmm....good sushi. Needless to say, it was very yummy. After sushi, [livejournal.com profile] doomsey and I went to their condo in Chicago to play wii. I have a feeling that we're going to end up with one of those eventually because it was a lot of fun. While [livejournal.com profile] doomsey, S. and G. were playing with the wii and I was waiting for a turn, I worked on knitting the baby blanket for my neice. I'm experimenting with some different patterns, and so far it's turning out nicely. I'm pretty pleased with it actually. Also, [livejournal.com profile] judygs and [livejournal.com profile] emygination got me a nice knitting set from the knitting store they go to. I have to say that it's really coming in handy.

By the way, here's a question for my friends list. Does anybody out there find knitting relaxing?

"Nyaa! Not right now! Leave me alone! I'm busy!"
... right, relaxing. Really.

That's because you have a knack for bugging me precisely when I'm working on the part of the blanket where I can't stop...usually the pattern at the end. That and I really don't like stopping mid-row with the needles I'm working with. I'm afraid that my stitches will fall off the needle.

So yes...it is relaxing when people aren't bugging me to stop what I'm doing and take a look at this...blah blah blah...
