I wish. It was more the fact that I kept getting more and more anxious the later it got because I wasn't falling alseep and I had to get up in the morning. And listening to the f-ing clock that doomsey likes so much and insists on keeping bong every fifteen minutes, reminding me what time it is and that I'm still not asleep really didn't help. He's lucky that I didn't drop kick it across our street at three o'clock in the morning today. There's a reason that the alarm clock a) doesn't have numbers that are very visible from where I sleep and b) it's no where near me because I've had this problem before.
Yeah, if this is a chronic problem, you should probably see a doctor. FWIW, sometimes when I'm wound up, reading or doing something escapist helps me to sleep.
Yeah that does sound bad. The only time I get like that is, oddly, when I've been up for an extended period of time (like after an all nighter). For some reason when I'm super tired, I get into an anxious mode like that where I can't fall asleep because I'm afraid that I won't be able to fall asleep.
When that happens to me, the only thing that seems to help is heading downstairs, laying down on the couch, and throwing on some movie that I've seen a million times before.
