This afternoon, I was still considering doing somemore weeding and yardwork outside (even though I'm pretty sore) since the weather is nice today, but it's going to get somewhat hot again on Monday. My mind ended up being made for me. When we got home from Trader Joes, we discovered that TruGreen had come by and treated the lawn. Since we can't walk on it for the rest of the day, I guess I'm not going back out. I didn't think they worked on Saturday, but I guess I'm wrong. Oh well. I guess this gives me time to read and work on some knitting.
Yesterday, I wrote a post on
_discussion motivated by some sexists posts made by another person. Some of the discussion prompted me to ask who struggles more in society, men or women? Actually, I've been getting a lot of comments on it. However, one joker made a one word reply, which was the n-word. I think that's the only time I've deleted a comment there. I come from a family (my parents were and are pretty racist) where it was acceptable for that word to be tossed around. Obviously, I don't share the same views, and I guess I can get pretty oversensitive when it's used. Anyhow, said person saw that I deleted their comment and added it again. I think I'm going to keep deleting it because I'm a little stinker.
