Friday the 13th Party

nekosenseiThe Friday the 13th Party last night was fun. Apparently, it's a two day party and it's also going to go on tonight as well. I'm not going since I want to relax this weekend. chitownshae. voidness thought that having people sitting in the living room knitting was "kind of wrong" because it really isn't a very domestic place, but it was amusing. For whatever reason, I like to knit when I'm talking to people because it gives me something to do with my hands. When I was a kid, I used to sit around and play with stuff (like salt shakers when I was sitting at the kitchen table) when I talked. Knitting solves that problem. Oh...it certainly kept me from drinking too much alcohol at the party. I'm too afraid to drink too much while knitting because I would be afraid of getting confused and screwing up the blanket.
We really need to get together and organize stich 'n bitch meetings. That would be a lot of fun...and I would probably get more accomplished on my baby blanket if we did that.
