That's why I chose that video, because the cat was being picked on, which is essentially what happened to me this morning. The poor cat wanted to be left alone.
I actually do have a cat that will hiss, scream, and attack you whenever you take her outside of the house (to the vet), trim her nails, or brush her. Lately, we do drive-by brushing. We pick her up, brush her for about a minute, and let her go. This makes her slightly less violent. Who ever heard of a cat that doesn't like being brushed? Unfortunately, since she is a long hair, we're not really keeping up on getting all the mats out, particularly the ones on her belly. We're almost tempted to give her some tranquilizers, take her to Petsmart, and have them give her a lion's cut.
Really...there's no way around it. Our vet said that's she's not doing this because she's fearful, but because she's fearless. In other words, she has aggression issues. She doesn't want anyone doing anything to her...no how...no way.
My cat was curled up with me and had a full view of the video. Needless to say, his purring stopped immediately, he began to look around for the angry cat and realized it was on the screen. He was transfixed.
I think he's still worried about it hopping out of the screen and coming after him.
