I wonder if my washing machine is kaput. It stopped about half-way through the load and I can't get it to start up again. I tried spinning the timer on the front and swishing the clothes around that are inside to balance it in case it is off balance. It's full of water since it hasn't made it through the spin cycle yet. I don't know. It's an old washing machine. Maybe we're going to end up having to buy a new one this weekend...

So much for getting some much needed laundry done today...

If it makes noise but doesn't spinn the hugg rubber band inside may have snapped. Time to open the back of it and take a look. Good luck

It doesn't make any noise at all. I try to spin the dial and turn it on again, and it doesn't do a thing. It's completely dead.
