nekosenseiToday, I was knitting my blanket and watching Discovery Channel. Recently, I found out that I tend to knit longer when I'm watching tv, probably because I don't get bored as quickly. You also don't have to pay very much attention to shows on Discovery Channel or CNN to get the gist. You can just listen and then look up when you hear something interesting.
As I was working on the last few lines, a show came on about a scientist-- who had swam with sharks for years-- got bit by one. The narrator then proceeded to say that, in that show, they were going to investigate how and why he got bitten. You know, I don't think you need a one hour show in order to investigate this. It can be summed up in two simple sentences. You were standing in waist deep water that was full of bull sharks. One of them was hungry and decided that they might have a nip. QED.
