I was supposed to have my brother over today so that he could see the house. Afterwards, I had planned to take him to a movie. My body, on the other hand, had other plans. Yesterday evening, I went to bed, but had a hard time getting comfortable because my head hurt. I actually had to get a softer pillow so I could get to sleep. Just touching my head hurt...almost as if someone had hit me on the head and I had a bruise there or something. It turns out that I was having a migraine of sorts, which of course kept me up practically all night.

judygs said that could happen. Whatever. I ended up sleeping in until 11:00. After having breakfast and trying to read LJ, I wanted to take a shower, but ended up getting nauseous and throwing up instead. So much for breakfast. I talked to

judygs and she said that I should take my migraine meds and sit in a dark room for awhile. There was no way I was going to be able to drive to pick my brother up so

doomsey offered to do it instead. I told my brother about the change of plans and that we would probably rent a movie instead. Later my mom called me up and suggested that I should reschedule things for when I was feeling better because my brother "could be a handful."

doomsey's family brought dinner over instead...and guests! You know,

doomsey's family is nice and all that, but they can be loud. My head probably would have been better off if it had been just been

doomsey and my brother. I should have told my mom that too. On the other hand, it was nice seeing

almeda and her husband! :)
