34. Eifelheim by Michael Flynn -- Aliens crash land in a medieval German town nestled in the Black Forest. All hell breaks loose. Okay...not exactly all hell. You'd be surprised actually. I'm not going to say more since it's judygs' book and she hasn't read it yet. A very unique science fiction novel. One has a hard time imagining Close Encounters of the Third Kind set in the Middle Ages, but it works!
