Bizarre Dreams

Last night, I dreamt that I almost started global thermonuclear war. That was a fun dream. I was playing around with a website thinking it was a computer game. I took about five or six nukes and aimed them all at Chicago. Pretty much everything from the Wisconsin border to Kankakee would have been toast. Yes...I must be at the end of my rope to dream about blowing the town where I live and everyone I know sky high. And then, I realized that it wasn't a game. I had managed "to push the button" and that the Chicago area really was about to go up in smoke. Fortunately, there was a drop down menu, and I was able to back out of it before the missiles went flying. Still, the government knew what happened, and they were hunting my sorry ass down. They seemed to think I was terrorist and not a frustrated woman playing a computer game...

Nah...what's even better is that there would be an earth-shattering ka-boom involved. The idea of making things randomly explode sounds kind of fun and might be more than a little bit cathartic. I once told my brother-in-law that, if I ever ended up in the military, doing demolitions would be fun...especially if I got to play around with grenades...

I had a dream last night that the TV show Lost, which I don't watch, started off as an interactive experience in which computer geeks would take overprivileged nutjobs on plane excursions and crash them. Unfortunately, their latest excursion got out of hand, and we were watching the debris crash down from the sky in pretty explosions.

Also, last night, I had a dream that your husband knocked me down at the old Marshall Fields in Oak Brook, so he could buy the last pair of melon-colored Jockey panties in a size 6. I had to settle for purple. I was quite put out at him. I'm not sure what it means.

Yep...that's doomsey all right. I emptied the dishwasher today and found a steak knife pointed up. I swear he's trying to kill me. Luckily I saw it and didn't try to grab for it. His excuse this time: "normally I don't pay much attention to such things." I swear...he's going to get that can of peaches thrown at him yet....

Probably not...but he has left the toilet seat up so that I take "the midnight plunge". Actually, he hasn't been doing that lately because I yelled at him

Heh heh...I think I've had enough drama for the rest of the year...

Seriously, I wonder if my subconscious mind was trying to tell me something...that things were going to seriously blow up...
