Test Tomorrow

Ugh! That Barium thing I had to drink for my CT scan tomorrow was gross. I discovered that watching YouTube videos while I drink it helps keep me distracted from how bad it tastes. I think I'm going to try that same tactic tomorrow morning when I have to drink another container of it.

This evening, I found out something I shouldn't have. Apparently, my husband and my doctor were keeping it from me so that I wouldn't get more upset. Said thing was written on the prescription the doctor wrote-- which was kept out of my hands until today-- and it's something they want to rule out. I'm not ready to talk about it now so I won't. I'm not mad at them, and I think they did do the right thing. I'm just glad that I didn't find out until now and not on Tuesday because waiting that long would have been excruciating.

So...I guess what I'm asking is this. If you're the praying type, can you pray that my test tomorrow goes okay?

I'll keep my fingers crossed. And wanting to "rule out" something is always a good sign. It means your doctors are cautious (good) but not overly concerned (also good).

Yes, you'll be in my thoughts. FWIW, it's not unusual for tests to be run just to rule out really bad stuff - I've had that happen before too.
