Books I've read so far this year...

1. The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman
2. The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman -- This is the last book in Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy. Personally, I think it's better than the second book, but not quite as good as the first.

Am I the only one out there who thinks that "Spyglass is the weakest, and Subtle knife is the Strongest in that trilogy?

I just finished "All Tomorrow's Parties" by William Gibson. It's excellent, but probably makes a bit more sense if you've read "Idoru" first.
