1. The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman
2. The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman
3. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

4. The Colour of Magic by Terry Pratchett -- This is the first novel of Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. I have to admit that I like his style. His stories are entertaining and he has an amusing sense of humor. I'm definitely looking forward to reading more books by him. Unfortunately, my local library doesn't carry them and I have to order them through interlibrary loan.
