This is how I see it. People are whining about SUP getting rid of the basic accounts that don't cost anything and don't have ads. So...if you want a free account, get one that has ads. Big deal. It's not like they can't be filtered out. And you know what...they're running a business. If they want to make money that way, then fine. It seems harmless enough...
Now...the thing that I would have considered boycotting over was the disappearance of some interests from the most popular interest pages. Apparently, they took out some words like bisexuality and such. From what I've read though, it looks like SUP has come to their senses and put those words back in. That was my major beef, and it looks like it's been taken care of. So why bother?
Well I'm glad they've adjusted their dictionary. If you can't afford what...$24 per year you're going to have to put up with ads. That makes sense. Businesses must make money.
