1. The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman
2. The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman
3. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
4. The Colour of Magic by Terry Pratchett
5. The Once and Future King by T. H. White -- I finally made it through this one. It only took me forever. It was over six-hundred pages, and my neck sprain acts up whenever I read a lot. This is another one I would highly recommend. What it has to say about war (and mankind in general) is very true.
