I blame forestdruid and doomsey for introducing me on LJ in February of 2004. And the rest is history. After that, they couldn't get me to shut the hell up. :)

Yep. I have 1,869 posts and over 8,000 comments. I am a motor mouth.

On the other hand, that's not a long time at all. I think one of the people on my friends list has had an LJ since at least 2001.
