More Randomness

My throat is sore and it hurts to talk. My voice, when I do talk, sounds funny.

*sigh*

So...you know what this means. I get to be a motor-mouth online to compensate.


It's a good thing that I have to see my doctor for a blood draw today anyway. She can check everything out and make sure that things are kosher (aka that I don't have strep or anything).

when i was a kid i use to freak out when i had to go to the doc to draw blood
my life turned out to be one where at one point i had to do it every week!

I have to get my blood tested every couple of weeks. I used to not like needles, but I wouldn't say I was afraid of them either. It seems like, as time goes by, I've just gotten used to it. I don't watch when she draws my blood though. But my doctor is pretty good in that she doesn't keep stabbing me to find a vein...and if she does (like the time I had too many blood draws and my veins were scarred) she apologizes. When I was first admitted to the hospital...the nurse there had to stab me a ton of times just to get an IV in. She gave up and had to get someone else to do it. What probably happened was that my cardiovascular system was so shot that they had a hard time finding the vein.
