Kiddie Phone Call

Today, doomsey and I came home to find a message from his parents on our answering machine. It turns out that one of the kids, I suspect my niece, but it's hard to say for sure, accidentally called us and left us a five minute recording of their conversation. We were very amused.

When I was seeing Iron Man my coworker ass-dialed my desk line about five times. The voicemail system dutifully recorded the full 7 minutes worth of "message" and then forwarded it as a .WAV file to my cell phone, which buzzed for attention in my pocket during the film. I dutifully ignored it but was amazingly irritated because I had to wonder who the hell was calling me at 11:20 at night on a Sunday...
