Knitting Post

I finished a bunch of projects recently.

This is the "practice sock" that I've been working on for the past couple of months. After tearing it out and restarting it, and tearing it out again, I've finally managed to complete it. It's not really usable though since it's too big and made of the wrong material. As
doomsey said, Bigfoot could probably wear it if his feet were chopped in half.
On the other hand, it might make for a nice sock puppet. All it needs are googly eyes. Yeah...I know. Those last two pictures suck. I took the pictures one-handed. I'm also tired right now and I don't care.

I also made a dish cloth. It was
emygination's graduation and I was getting fidgety. (Knitting is a socially acceptable way to fidget after all).
emygination taught me the pattern.

I *finally* managed to get my future niece's baby blanket started. My friends will remember me starting it, and ripping it out, and re-starting it, and swearing, and ripping it out again over the Fourth of July weekend. Doing the center was *extremely* difficult. Now, it's finally off the double pointed needles and on the circular needles. Many thanks to
emygination for showing me what I was doing wrong.
The baby blanket will eventually look like this only it's going to have pink and cream stripes.
