Well That Was Weird

We just had a helicopter either land or hover close by. It must have been about a block or two away. It was loud. doomsey got up to look, and being the sheep that I am, I got out of bed and looked out a window also. A few minutes later, I saw him take off and move away. I still hear him, albeit far away, so he must be circling around maybe north and/or east of us. I wonder if there's something going on.

That was kind of cool. The only sucky thing was that I went to bed late last night and I've had a hard time getting to sleep. Oh well. I'm going to try to sleep again and hope there isn't any more drama.

Must be a manhunt or something. I once woke up to a helicopter recently and found out that there was a bank robbery on the news.

I didn't hear any police sirens, so I doubt it was criminal activity. My guess is that it was a news chopper. We do live close to not one but two expressways.

Unfortunately, no. It wasn't zombies. The only zombie I was aware of in this neighborhood was me. And no, I wasn't a member of the unliving dead. I just hadn't slept enough.
