Whoa!

I looked at wunderground again. The local storm report said that there was a tornado spotted on the ground in my town a little after eight. I told doomsey earlier that I could have sworn I heard something that sounded like a train beneath the thunder. Looks like I wasn't wrong. Fortunately, our power hasn't gone out. I'm surprised. Maybe it was on the other side of town?

It looks like the worst is over. Once they cancel the tornado warning, I'm going to go upstairs.

[Edit: And they cancelled it. Time to go upstairs!]

We're under the same warnings as you are but instead of stowing away in the bathroom (we don't have a basement), we're watching Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares on the tivo.

Interestingly, as things were calming down out here (Bolingbrook, in Will county) they issued another tornado warning. We just kept watching Gordon.
