Buy a hybrid car. My Toyota Prius rocks!

Also, if you're going somewhere and it's a mile or less from your house, walk or ride a bike. Use mass transit to get to and from work if possible.

We've got a Yaris. We wanted a Prius, but, the Yaris was more affordable. IMO, Yaris is second in line to a Prius.

The Yaris sedan is exactly the same as the 1st generation Prius, only without the hybrid transmission.

It definitely is a beauty of a car. And I love that I can hook up my iPod to the stereo. I'd not had that before...

And if I remember correctly, it gets about the same gas milage because it's a small car.
