Hurricane Ike

This is footage of Hurricane Ike hitting Cuba. I can't believe how big those waves are. I really feel for the people who opted to weather the storm out in Galveston. In fact, I've heard that as many as 40% of the population decided to stay. It's my understand that most of the island is going to be flooded.

I think this one is going to be worse than Katrina.

What really scares me is that "In a move designed to avoid highway gridlock, most of Houston's 2 million residents heeded orders to hunker down at home." (From here (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/ike). They urged people to stay. Perhaps 2 million people are gonna get whomped. I'm really scared you might be right. : /

Dang, that looks very scary. Check out those huge waves. I wouldn't like to live in hurricane prone coastal areas. No, sir.

Maybe, it'll be nearly as bad as Katrina a few years ago. Not so sure yet.
