Does fudge have to be refrigerated once it hardens? I'm thinking of pulling out what's in the fridge and cutting it up. I think it can be left on a counter for a couple of days, but I'm not sure.

Yeah, you're good to go once it's hardened. Sitting out on the counter isn't a problem for fudge.

I figured it was okay, but I already messed up one cookie recipe and I didn't want to take any chances with the fudge. I ended up scrapping the first batch and making a second one. The second batch is *much* better.

I looked at the fudge while I was baking cookies and decided it could use to stay in the fridge overnight.

I am so pooped it's not funny.

"Real" fudge doesn't need to be refrigerated; microwave fudge does.
